Cup Team

Team Qualifications

ü Must be a member in good standing at the time of all qualifiers & at the time of the actual event.

ü Must be at least 18 years of age, or have graduated high-school by June 1st, 2009.

ü Entry Fee = $30 (Everyone attempting to qualify will receive a shirt again this year)

Selection Criteria

§ The 2008 Jim Jones Memorial Match Play Champ (Hunter York) & the 2008 Benton Club Champion (Scott Clark) are exempt from Qualifying but are still required to pay the $30 Entry fee to be eligible prior to the 2-Day Qualifier.

§ 4 Team Members will be selected based upon the combination of 2 Rounds from the Benton Invitational. In order to be considered for one of the 4 spots the qualifying fee must be paid, at the Benton Country Club Pro-Shop, prior to T-Time on Saturday, May 16th. (Should weather affect either of the 2 Rounds at the tournament, the scores used by the tournament committee for the tournament will be used for qualifying purposes.)

§ 3 Team Members will be selected from a 2-Day qualifier at Benton Country Club. The dates of the 2-day qualifier will tentatively be May 23rd & May 24th. To be eligible for the 2-day qualifier, the qualifying fee must be paid at the Benton Country Club Pro-Shop prior to teeing off. Tee times & groupings will then be decided by blind draw for the qualifier. Saturday’s Tee Times will be at 0900AM & 1500PM with everyone teeing off on Sunday at 1PM. In the event of rain during the 2-Day qualifier, scores will be counted from holes that ALL individuals have completed before play is stopped.

§ 1 Team Member will be selected from an 18-hole LAST CHANCE Qualifier to be held at 1PM on May 31st.

§ The Final Team Members (2) & Alternate order will be based upon a combination of ALL Qualifiers taking the Lowest 3 Scores from the 7 Rounds possible for each player. (2 Earlybird, 2 Benton Invitational, 2 Qualifier, & 1 Last Chance Qualifier). If you wish for the Earlybird Scores to count, you must pay in the Betnon Pro-Shop prior to your T-Time on Saturday May 9th at the Earlybird Invitational.

Events

Ø There will be a Cup Match again this year with Drake Creek held on June 6th & 7th.

Ø The Marshall County Cup between Benton & Calvert is scheduled for August 8th & 9th with the location to be determined.

Ø There will be a Cup Match again this year with South Highland held on August 29th & 30th.

Ø Additional Events are possible, and dates/times will be communicated as they become available.
